Titya has always had a passion for making jewellery.The inspiration came naturally following the death of his Hindu Mauritian parents-in-law, whose ancestors were originally from Tamil Nadu (southern India). The various religious ceremonies she attended with her husband and daughter formed the basis of her collection.
