A versatile ingredient, vanilla is the fruit of the wild orchid. We wanted to return to this exotic fruit, this black pod that we delight in opening to reveal its sensual sweetness. By moving away from the rich, very sweet vanilla, we are restoring this substance to its traditional depth. Its scent is rich and powerful, sensual but never cloying. In ‘Une Vanille’, black vanilla from Madagascar is paired with tonka beans, which have almond-like notes. A finishing touch that transforms the original scent of this fruit, whose aroma shifts between sweetness and intensity, the obvious and the mysterious – so natural and yet so supernatural at the same time.
Top notes: Venezuelan tonka bean absolute.
Heart notes: Madagascar black vanilla absolute.
