The film has been applied to coloured suede; in very damp conditions, colour may transfer onto clothing.
Laminated film wears at the points where it rubs and at the stitching points where it is turned inside out. If snagged, the film could tear.Further information: To achieve this look, the goatskins are tanned, then a coloured lamé film is applied to the velvety side of the leather to adhere to the material.
