Run an empty wash cycle to remove any traces of detergent or bleach that might stain your leather. Wash the item on its own, in cold water, on a short, gentle cycle, using a small amount of mild liquid detergent, in the detergent drawer of your washing machine. Remove your garment immediately at the end of the cycle, lay it flat to dry, and iron it inside out on a low heat. Never wash your garment by hand.
With every wash, your garment will fade; to keep it looking its best, have it cleaned by a leather specialist.
